[Case Study] Custom Redirection to Wishlist Member Login Form
Rhonda Crosby, an internet marketing consultant, addressed us to solve a problem to do a custom development job to one of her clients, Bedrock Divorce Advisors, LLC.
The Problem
Rhonda’s client wanted to be able to redirect members that login from a specific login form to a different page.
This login form that was located in a different page was part of a special promotion for the full product.
The client wanted each customer that logs-in from this specific promotion page will be redirected to a different page and not the one defined inside Wishlist Member settings.
The real challenge was to keep all other login forms to redirect to the regular after registration page.
The Solution
We offered the customer two options to solve this issue:
1. Custom developed plugin that will be suitable to any future promotions that the client might want to do.
2. Custom developed plugin that will solve the problem, but will only be suitable for this specific promotion.
The client chose the most suitable solution for his needs.
The Conclusion
Using special coding, the client has enjoyed a more suitable flow that enabled him to redirect users according to the specified offer.

Also, is it much different WL Post Login from a while back? That plugin is no longer available but this seems like a better option.

Wishlist Post Login is different than the custom development we did. WL Post Login redirected members who are not
logged in to the same page they wanted to access after they login to the site.
What we developed is a different solution for when a membership site owner wants to redirect members who login
from a specific login form to a specific page, but keep all the other login forms redirect to the regular
registration page.
